Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Inventory Control Technician in Columbia (Mid Missouri Acutes), Missouri

With a team of approximately 5,000 talented and caring employees serving across the United States, DCI provides care to nearly 15,000 patients on dialysis and 3,500 patients with chronic kidney disease. We offer a variety of services including in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (PD). Each position within DCI, from billers to administrators to nursing staff, contributes toward the goal of providing excellent patient care. Our staff has helped DCI achieve the lowest mortality and hospitalization rates among large dialysis providers for the past 13 years in a row.

The inventory control technician is responsible for all purchasing and inventory control for our hospital dialysis units.


  • Maintains the correct quantities of inventory for the clinic.

  • Places orders with the RN Manager to maintain stock levels.

  • Receives incoming shipments of supplies; records and stocks supplies accordingly.

  • Compares inventories to office records to obtain current inventory.

  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, and investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.

  • Prepares daily and/or weekly reports, such as inventory balance, price lists and shortages.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Three to six months related experience in the medical industry and/or training

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
