Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Dialysis Area Equipment Technical Manager in Nacogdoches, Texas


The Dialysis Equipment Technical Manager is responsible for maintaining all equipment associated with providing dialysis treatments for our dialysis clinics in the Nacogdoches area as well as in Shreveport.


  • Supervises the technical equipment staff.

  • Ensures staff dialysis techs are servicing equipment according to the manufacturer guidelines, AAMI standards and DCI specific guidelines. This includes the proper maintenance and repair of water treatment systems, dialysis machines, reuse equipment and other equipment used in providing dialysis at our clinics.

  • Accountable for the training technical staff in the proper use and maintenance of equipment. Documents all training.

  • Accountable for maintaining proper inventory, following DCI inventory guidelines.

  • Ensures technical staff are performing according to the facility policies and procedures.

  • Works with Chief Tech to ensure the physical plant is in good working order, assists with repair as needed.

  • Coordinates outside maintenance services as needed.

  • Ensures each clinic performs air quality testing according to clinic policy.

  • Keeps up-to-date on OSHA standards and other standards.

  • Implements and monitors compliance with standards to provide a safe workplace.

  • Provides staff education regarding technical areas as needed.

  • Actively encourages open communication within the technical equipment staff.


  • An Associate's degree in biomedical applications from a two-year College or Technical School is preferred.

  • Candidate must have 2-3 years of relevant Dialysis Equipment or Biomedical Equipment maintenance and repair experience.

  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
