Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Corporate Director of Dialysis Hospital Services in Nashville (Corporate Office), Tennessee


This position can be based anywhere in the United States under a remote working arrangement. 25%-30% travel is required.

Compensation will range between $150,000-$200,000 annually based on experience.

The Corporate Director of Hospital Services will direct and manage operational, clinical, financial, and development strategies and initiatives relating to DCI Hospital Services programs. The Director of Hospital Services will participate in operational decision-making processes necessary for the successful attainment of DCI’s mission in addition to maintaining an awareness of changes in healthcare matters that could have an impact on DCI’s hospital relationships and hospital-based dialysis and related therapy programs.

The Director of Hospital Services will work in partnership with the Senior Operations Directors (SODs) and Area Operations Directors (AODs) to provide leadership, clinical, and strategic direction for DCI Hospital Services programs.

The Director of Hospital Services oversees the Corporate Nurse Consultants for Hospital Services and the Hospital Services Billing group.

The Director of Hospital Services reports directly to the DCI Chief Operating Officer.


  • Participate in defining DCI Hospital Services objectives and scope

  • Facilitate the definition and improvement of clinical and financial goals for DCI Hospital Services

  • Oversee and continually evaluate the quality of Hospital Services; develop and review the strategic and operation plans for new and existing services

  • Make recommendations to Executive Committee regarding Hospital Services program development and structure

  • Communicate with SODs on a regular basis by e-mail, phone, and in-person

  • Provide guidance to SODs and AODs in managing Hospital Services programs and relationships

  • Assist SODs and AODs with problem-solving and improvement initiatives related to clinical, operational, and financial challenges

  • Assist SODs and AODs with market analysis, business development, and relationship management in new and existing service areas

  • Assist local management to continually analyze current staffing, quality metrics, financial metrics, operations, policies, systems and procedures, and develop and implement necessary changes that maximize Hospital Services clinical and operational excellence and efficiency.

  • Review operational and financial reports to assist local management in identifying and improving variances from goal

  • Serve as a mentor to AODs in the area of Hospital Services, with particular emphasis on new Directors and/or Managers

  • Collaborate with Medical Directors, Hospital executives, and other key stakeholders as necessary to maintain quality patient care and enhanced partnership in the Hospital Services environment

  • Facilitate meetings with Hospital executives for the purpose of business development or customer relations

  • Prepare and deliver presentations for the purpose of business development, clinical outcomes management, continuing education, or operational objectives

  • Develop process flows to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies in the Hospital Services setting

  • Develop process flows to maximize revenue capture

  • Oversee development of best demonstrated practice guidelines for Hospital Services related to patient care, customer service, physician relationship management, staff education, patient education, survey readiness, billing, and business development

  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

  • Oversee design and maintenance of tools for clinical, operational, and business use in the Hospital Services setting

  • Participate in development of appropriate information technology systems and analytic capability which monitor and enhance DCI’s clinical and business performance and facilitate enhanced management and strategic decision making

  • Maintain and communicate working knowledge of relevant federal and state requirements related to Hospital Services

  • Provide effective stewardship and management of DCI financial resources and assets

  • Assist with preparation of DCI Hospital Services program budgets


  • A Bachelor's degree in health care related field is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in hospital or dialysis administration.
