Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Data Analyst in Nashville (Corporate Office), Tennessee
The REACH Kidney Care Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting health care innovation and improvement efforts within the REACH Kidney Care division at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI). REACH Kidney Care is DCI’s healthcare innovation division responsible for testing and implementing ways to improve care for people with kidney disease. As a REACH Data Analyst, you will need to enjoy primarily working with data to identify, understand, and communicate meaningful patterns and key insights to the team. You will need to translate vast swaths of data into easily understandable visuals and narratives. Other members of the REACH team will need access to actionable data to improve processes and in turn improve the delivery of care and health outcomes for our patients. You will have the unique opportunity of working with rich health care claims data for Medicare and commercial health plan beneficiaries. Each data point is a part of someone’s story, and understanding this will be key to identifying and communicating meaningful patterns in the data.
Focus and attention to detail are key. You will be preparing presentations of data for various stakeholders and partners who will expect to see reliable and consistent analyses which can be acted upon. Through your commitment to excellence, you will help identify and communicate opportunities that lead to better care for our patients and better use of health care resources.
As a REACH Data Analyst, you will be working with micro and macro-level data for the REACH Kidney Care programs:
Systematically obtain and analyze data extracts and reports from health care payors, including but not limited to Medicare
Produce reports, graphics, and slides to summarize and visualize data for stakeholders on a consistent and reliable schedule; communicate any unforeseen delays as appropriate
Regularly report data findings to the team
Continually identify opportunities for improvement and innovation regarding data analysis
Attend team meetings to present data reports and analyses
Work with members of the clinical and operations teams to gain insights and guidance into data analyses
Maintain organized record of data analyses through your own file system and shared folders with the team
Bachelor’s degree or greater is required
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
Ability to adapt to new software
Excellent external-facing and internal communication skills (both verbal and written)
Attention to detail and commitment to excellent and reliable work
Creative problem-solving and analysis skills
Experience distilling vast amounts of data into easily understandable reports and analyses that lead to action
Preferred Education and/or Experience
2 years of experience in an analytical field
Experience with one or more programming language
Experience with a data analysis tool such as SQL, Tableau, etc.
