Dialysis Clinic, Inc. HR Generalist – Leave of Absence Administrator in Nashville (Corporate Office), Tennessee

Overview

The HR Generalist - Leave Administrator position is responsible for overseeing the leave of absence program for approximately 5,000 employees in 29 states. The HR Generalist is responsible for advising employees and facility leaders on leave eligibility. Serves as a resource to employees and managers on all aspects of FMLA leave, personal leave, LTD, worker's comp leave and military leave.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and administers the LOA program for all DCI facilities.

  • Serves as a LOA resource to leadership in both the corporate office and in the field.

  • Provides accurate and timely consultation to employees prior to their leave of absence regarding leave policies, appropriate leave protections, use of paid time off, and other employer benefits.

  • Coordinates the employee's return to work among all parties on a need-to-know basis.

  • Maintains current knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to leave of absence, including their interaction with applicable EEOC and ADA laws.

  • Works in conjunction with Corporate Payroll, Benefits, and Worker’s Comp departments to coordinate and communicate benefits to management and employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

  • 2 – 4 years of related experience

  • HR certification preferred

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
