Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Patient Assistance Liaison in Nashville (Corporate Office), Tennessee


Founded in 1971, Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) remains the nation’s largest non-profit dialysis provider. With a team of approximately 5,000 talented and caring employees serving across the United States, DCI provides care to nearly 15,000 patients on dialysis and 3,500 patients with chronic kidney disease. We offer a variety of services including in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (PD). Each position within DCI, from billers to administrators to nursing staff, contributes toward the goal of providing excellent patient care. Our staff has helped DCI achieve the lowest mortality and hospitalization rates among large dialysis providers for the past 13 years in a row.

Within the Patient Assistance Department, the Patient Assistance Liaison reviews and approves DCI patient Financial Analysis Forms and is the link between the DCI Social Workers and patient assistance programs that provide resources for patients with kidney disease who express a financial hardship.


  • Receive process, prepare, and follow up on patient financial assistance grant requests and applications submitted to indigent programs for assistance

  • Review and approve the DCI patient Financial Analysis Forms (FAF).

  • Monitor applications and grant requests referrals submitted online to patient assistance programs to ensure timely processing.

  • Use DCI Billing applications to research patient insurance status.

  • Electronic filing of patient account information.

  • Be knowledgeable of health insurance and health insurance issues.


  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) preferred from a two year college or technical school

  • Two years related medical billing experience and/or training preferred

  • An equivalent combination of education and training in insurance or accounts receivables will also be considered.
