Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Patient Assistance Liaison in Nashville (Corporate Office), Tennessee
Within the Patient Assistance Department, the Patient Assistance Liaison reviews and approves DCI patient Financial Analysis Forms and is the link between the DCI Social Workers and patient assistance programs that provide resources for patients with kidney disease who express a financial hardship.
Receive process, prepare, and follow up on patient financial assistance grant requests and applications submitted to indigent programs for assistance
Review and approve the DCI patient Financial Analysis Forms (FAF).
Monitor applications and grant requests referrals submitted online to patient assistance programs to ensure timely processing.
Use DCI Billing applications to research patient insurance status.
Electronic filing of patient account information.
Be knowledgeable of health insurance and health insurance issues.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s degree (A.A.) preferred from a two year college or technical school
Two years related medical billing experience and/or training preferred
An equivalent combination of education and training in insurance or accounts receivables will also be considered.
