Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Dialysis Equipment Technical Manager in Seven Fields, Pennsylvania
The Dialysis Equipment Technical Manager is responsible forthe overall technical program for hemodialysis. This includes responsibility for the technical performance of all equipment used in the delivery of dialysis and reuse, the ordering of supplies as well as the overall care of the facility. The Technical Manager is also accountable for the fiscal and human resources budgets for the technical program.
The Dialysis Equipment Technical Manager will be responsible for 3-4 dialysis clinics in the area and will be required to travel to each of these locations.
Responsible for the overall operation of the technical aspects of dialysis including maintenance, problem diagnoses and repairs of dialysis machines, concentrate delivery systems, water treatment system, and the facility.
Responsible for the coordination of the preventative maintenance schedules (monthly, quarterly and annual) for all of the above systems; and supervising the completion of these schedules and all repair work while properly documenting this work on a routine basis sufficient to meet CMS, AAMI and DCI's standards.
Monitors and documents water quality, dialyzer reuse and concentrate quality as required in order to meet CMS, AAMI and DCI's standards.
Monitors and orders medical supplies as needed or requested. Monitors pricing of supplies to hold down supply cost and assist with monthly inventory.
Plans and documents the proper sterilization, disinfection and cleaning methods and techniques of all systems and equipment.
Assists technical staff in carrying out functions and activities expected of them and substituting for other technical support personnel on an "as needed" basis.
Responsible for keeping abreast of technical changes in the technical delivery of dialysis services in order to properly maintain, design and repair the equipment and systems. This includes attendance at professional meetings.
Accountable for the training of all technical personnel in the proper use and maintenance of all equipment and systems, using an approved documented training program.
Provides staff inservices and orientation of new technical and clinical employees concerning proper use of equipment and systems.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of all technical staff including dialyzer reprocessing, supply and maintenance.
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Three years related biomedical equipment maintenance and repair experience and/or training required
Prefer experience in the repair and maintenance of dialysis and related equipment.
Must successfully complete DCI's comprehensive dialyzer reprocessing training program and appropriate manufactures equipment training.
