The Dialysis Facility / Equipment Technician will ensure the building is properly maintained. Will aslo ensure equipment and supplies used in all areas of the facility, including dialysis systems, are properly functioning and safe for use.
This position is full-time, and will be split between two clinics in Faulkner and Somerville.
Ensure all machines and systems used throughout the dialysis treatment process are operating correctly and efficiently.
Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose and repair machine malfunctions as necessary.
Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
Order parts, supplies, and equipment from suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms.
Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
Align and balance new equipment after installation.
Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools.
Install equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of commercial buildings.
Test and treat water supply.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must successfully complete assigned manufacturer training courses within 12 months.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software.
